Coen Kardeşlerin 2000 yapımı filmi “O Brother, Where Art Thou” hem film olarak izleyicilerde hoş bir yer edinmiş hem de sountrack ’i ile oldukça beğenilmiştir. Filmleri kadar filmlerinin müziklerine de gereken önemi veren Coenler ilk defa bir film albümünün 2002 yılında yılın albümü seçilerek grammy ödülü almalarını sağlamışlardır. Soundtrack’in genel havası country tadındadır. Zamanında Bilboard Country listelerinde 1 numaraya çıkan albüm genel listede de ilk 25 te yer almıştı. Albüm T-Bone Brunett tarafından hazırlandı.
